This is the not so basic basic you've been searching for. Layer them up, 2 or 3 in a row, to get the look of constellations on your ears, or just a single accent to catch a sparkle every now and then.
Insert the flat back tube into the back of your ear and fasten it in place with the stud itself. Give it a little push to make sure it's properly closed, the slight bend in the post will create tension to keep it secure. To take them off, gently twist each half in opposite directions and pull them apart!
